For Fatherland
For Fatherland
is struggling with ardor and idolatry, were heroes who had
clear his intentions, carrying in their hearts
freedom to greatness and in their minds the firmness
to fulfill their ambitions.
declare, independence
for this beloved soil, under
courage born of selfless men.
Now that time has passed
and live with honor, we remember with love
heroes who have honored us.
Their names will always be ingrained in the memories,
because they gave us the glory
with examples of humility,
of this desired freedom
that enhances our history.
